What skills has RFS helped you develop as a NED?
Understanding the intricacies of how the Government and Military operate and how the world of business can work successfully in tandem. The ethos and professionalism of the military is world class and having an insight into this from a strategic dimension has been tremendous learning.
How would you convince someone in your network to support military spouses?
I have been astounded at the resources available. I don’t think the layman understands the challenges military spouses face and the value they can add to organisations. The pool of talent is vast and can be an asset to any organisation. I have witnessed, first hand, how productive using military spouses can be.
