Rusila Halofaki

Talent Acquisition Manager

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be?

Mother Theresa – to better understand her motivation and her faith in her selfless service to humanity and the disadvantaged.

What's one skill you'd like to develop further in the next year?

Collaboration and Creativity. Thinking outside the box more when networking with new organisations

How has working with veterans and their families impacted your perspective?

I have more empathy for their challenges, and it’s motivated me to help them more in recruitment. There’s still a lot that could have been done for them while still serving and I feel that gap needs to be addressed throughout their military service rather than leaving it to the ‘resettlement’ stages of their military service.

If you could swap jobs with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?

Helen Callis – I’ve benefitted both personally and professionally from the coaching and mentoring provided by her team, so it’ll be great to have an insight on how she makes these fabulous matches. Helen’s passion for coaching and mentoring is very contagious, once you catch it, you want to learn more of it.

How does your work support your personal values or passions?

I live by this popular quote ‘If It Is To Be, It’s Up to Me!’ Everyday I’m surrounded with a team that embraces this as well. As we progress, we grow and we see things manifesting as we dreamt and visualised it – it may take a while for some cases but it still all comes to pass. Work has really pushed me out of my comfort zones and this has been one of my personal goals that I be pushed out of the box I came in to be able to fulfil my purpose.
