Serco's Healthcare team delivers specialist clinical and assessment services on behalf of government partners, including the DWP's Health Assessment Advisory Service and Psychological Services within the justice system. If you're a registered healthcare professional or psychologist looking for a meaningful role with genuine work-life balance, here's what's currently available:

• Functional Assessor - Meet people with disabilities or health conditions (by phone, video or face-to-face) to carry out functional health assessments and understand how their condition affects daily life. Open to registered healthcare professionals (e.g. nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, paramedics). No prior assessment experience needed - full paid training and a structured transition programme is provided, supported by clinical coaches and communities of practice.
• Clinical Psychologist - Apply your clinical expertise to assessment and intervention work, contributing to better outcomes for the people Serco supports, with ongoing CPD and supervision.
• Forensic Psychologist - Deliver psychological assessments (e.g. WAIS, HCR-20, PCL-R, IPDE) and therapeutic interventions within the justice system, helping support the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders. HCPC registration (or within 6 months of obtaining it) required; Serco actively funds psychologists toward chartered and registered status.
• Group Therapist - Deliver high-quality group psychotherapy within a Therapeutic Community to individuals with complex mental health needs, supporting rehabilitation, reduced re-offending and improved psychological wellbeing as part of a psychologically informed, supportive team.
