Helping families in conflict, especially those divorcing or seperating
Military families have unique challenges when managing their relationships and their family arrangements that they work to overcome together. But when a decision to divorce or separate is made, these challenges become obstacles in arranging housing, schooling, but most importantly in managing children’s relationships with both parents who are planning to separate.
Family mediation is a quick, cost-effective and less stressful way to manage separation or divorce than heading to court. It gives control, reduces conflict, and helps separating couples to turn arguments into agreements – ensuring that family stays in control of arrangements over children, property and finance.
Military families who are divorcing are faced with making big decisions in a short timeframe and at a time of practical emotional legal and financial turmoil, but mediators know how to address all of these issues and will work together with parents and children to find solutions.
